Art Santa Fe
Much of Santa Fe’s eminent status as an international contemporary art destination is due to the annual occurrence of ART Santa Fe, which boasted record–breaking attendance in July of 2008.
International galleries mixed with U.S. galleries created a powerful collection of art from all over the world. Asian art was of particular interest for many. Carrie Clyne of China Square Gallery (New York and Beijing) describes her time at ART Santa Fe as “successful…. People showed interest in Chinese art and I made great contacts with curators, critics and collectors. Special interest was generated by Shen Jingdong’s brightly colored toy-like soldiers in the triptych Navy/Army/Air force that we displayed.” |

Ann Arbor Street Art Fair
Established in 1960, the Ann Arbor Street Art Fair is the Original of the now four award winning art fairs, which together attract over 500,000 attendees from across the nation. Among the many accolades received by the fair is the Number One Art Fair rating in the country (October 2004) and Top Ten Art Fair (October 2005, 2006 and 2007) by the AmericanStyle readers survey.
The 50th annual Fair will take place July 15-18, 2009 on the Ingalls Mall Lawn by the Burton Memorial Tower, North University, and the Diag on the Central Campus at the University of Michigan. The Fair will feature 174 juried artists, eight New Artists from local universities and colleges, the Potters Guild and an array of free art activities and performances for the whole family to enjoy. |

The 2008 Theta Charity Antiques Show will not take place. With the devastation in our the Houston area, Mayor White has once again found it necessary to use the George R Brown Convention Center for whatever needs arise. Hall A, our hall, is currently being used as a medical triage area for overflow from Houston hospitals.
We are also unable to hold our Preview Party on September 17th or our Luncheon on September 19th. Thank you for your support and for your understanding at this very difficult time. |

It's like having a national art collection right in your own backyard as The Peoria Art Guild 46th Annual Fine Art Fair brings the works of over 150 national artists to the Peoria Riverfront the last weekend in September. As one of the oldest outdoor juried art fairs in the country, the Fine Art Fair gives everyone the rare opportunity to meet and talk with nationally-recognized artists, sample some of the city's finest cuisine, and listen to some of Peoria's best musical performers. And for the kids, they can have their own art adventure at the Kids Art Festival. It's central Illinois' signature cultural event. The 2008 Fair dates will be September 27-28. Hope to see you there!
