	April 17 - 20, 2009 Milan downtown Fieramilanocity Milano	About to be staged for the 14th time, MiArt, Milan's International Modern and Contemporary Art Fair, has set itself the task of becoming an unmissable date on the Italian and international art calendar. For this reason, the fair, which for years has been showcasing the finest galleries specializing in 20th century art, has enlisted the help of two respected curators for 2009: Luca Cerizza and Giacinto Di Pietrantonio. Their task is to redefine the concept and rethink the approach of the event, in particular as regards the contemporary sector within the Italian and international context.

		KunStart
	May 21 - 24, 2009 Bolzano	The region of the art fair KunStart is renowned for its artistic flair. It hosted the last edition of the European biennal of contemporary art, Manifesta 7, and offers more space to contemporary art in its many prestigious museums and exhibitions, such as the Museion in Bolzano, the Mart in Rovereto, the Galleria Civica in Trento and the Kunst Merano Arte in Merano. In this lively and versatile environment, new generations of art collectors emerge. This is also an open, multilingual and multicultural region, and is thus destined to be a venue for art dealers and enthusiasts. Focusing on the developments in the international art market, KunStart is based on an open vision, and pays special attention to the many influences that contemporary art has on fields such as design, communications and industrial production. We aim at consolidating the presence of art in everyday life, and try to deepen the relationship between the population and the artists in order to create new connections between art, architecture and landscape.

		ZOOART
	July 10 - 17, 2008 Corso Giovanni XXIII Cuneo	Since 2002, Zooart has grown into an important cultural event in North Italy. Situated in the old Giardini Fresia in central Cuneo, it is a unique artistic event. For three weeks, from Thursday to Sunday, over thirty artists are presenting their work. This year a selection of artists from different regions of Italy will present work specially created for this particular location. On this occasion a new approach will be on display called “Manifestazoone”; fifteen posters placed in the main streets near the centre. The opening will be on the 5th July 2007, starting at 9 pm, with artistic performances and live music. Free entrance

		DigiFestival Total Art Festival
	Aug 15 - Sept 15, 2008 The Web and Florence for the final event!	DigiFestival is a multimedia festival of all art disciplines in streaming video, sponsored by the Tuscan Government of Italy, Regione Toscana, and realized in cooperation with TRA ART, the Tuscan Regional Network for Contemporary Art. All works enrolled in the festival will be divided in artistic disciplines and categories related to the discipline itself such as: music, theatre and dance, video and cinema, photography, figurative arts (painting, sculpture and architecture), Sport video. The competition will start August 15th and it will be completely held over the Internet. Prizes will be in cash. Deadline: August 9th 2005

The Festival is part of the cultural tradition and a continuation of the "Festival Internazionale del Film sull'Arte e di Biografie di Artisti", which was set up in 1973 by the Treviso Provincial Council and achieved great international success over the years. Thirty years later and in the light of advances in visual languages, the Festival is now being relaunched under the name "AsoloArtFilmFestival": an international showcase, and competition with prizes, of film production dedicated to the visual arts in all the variety of their expression.

		Artissima Arte Contemporanea a Torino
	November 7 - 9, 2008 Torino	Artissima started up as a modern and contemporary art fair in 1994. The idea of setting up an art fair in Turin originated in the consciousness of the primary role of the city in this field. A decision that has proved successful over the years and that has brought Artissima to become one element of major attraction in the programme of shows and events promoted by the city in co-operation with museums and art institutions in the month of November. In the course of the past editions Artissima has been focusing its attention exclusively on contemporary art, encouraging the participation of both renowned international galleries and of young emerging ones
